You can't make progress if you keep leisure

I'll have many free time after this week because the R&D havn't achieved the plan in time.The Boss have a conversation with me,and ask about career plan for me,then told "You can't make progress if you keep leisure,because you are a younger.It's dangerous!"
The company havn't open up the market for product,so the assignment about product registration will put off,and there'll be some impact for my plan in case the company develop slowly,especially speaking,it's too strict to apply registration from SFDA in a short time.At first we must get Producing License for Medical Device,So this week i will make a training for every department,maybe we should call it "review",we must implement the quality system before applying License.
The GF said to me that she bought a gift for me by phone,she have a chance to World Exposition last weekend.But i havn't enough money to ...,i can't face to her in a easy situation.
Sometimes,i wanna talk to BOSS that i have some interest about opening up market in my freetime,but not now.
It's more difficult than writing a email to supplier. :\
