Audit for the fabricated supplier

Last friday we conducted the audit to our two fabricated suppliers in ShenZhen and the quality of both two suppliers is so impressive to me that we think that we will be able to learn a lot of things from their management systems. Anyway, in this busy day I got several usefull knowledge from our CTO especially in the field of injection specification and injection machine.One of the most professional knowledge is that different machine just can match with the right resin to inject the fabricated part, that comes from three important different things: the compression ratios, the total length of the extruder screw and the property of resin.If it is not in the right way, the injection process will damage the mold in the long view.Another is about the injected property for resin, we should just inject the resin complying with the specification in the data sheet provided by original resin supplier and the subcontractor should also provide us C.O.C as a promise for using the compliance material.Finally, it is about the regrind used in our products;in order to control the percentage of regrind(15%) our subcontractor should establish some control documents about the usage of regrind procedure and also keep some records such as: distribution invoice of original resin from warehouse, quantity of regrind from injection workshop and also the blending records for each work day. However, there are still some other important issues should be paid more attention to;and they will be reminded in the future work.
