Position: Lean Manager
Essential Job Responsibilities
1. Ensure effective and efficient teamwork between departments regarding personnel and equipment
2. Assist in goals and objectives of TS-16949 company
3. Comply with the LEAN concept and provide the related training
4. Help to create, and follow-up on goals and objectives for the plant
5. Maintain and clean and safe operating facility
6. Push the VA program to get new ideas and cost saving from employees
7. Lead the individual facilities Lean Assessment Team (LAT) in the performance and conduct of monthly departmental assessments of the SROS implementation.
8. Conduct, delegate, and oversee facilities SROS training using corporate training modules, training plans, course materials, and training session logistics.
9. Work collaboratively with department leadership to acquire resources, develop policies, and cooperate on assignments related to SROS implementation.
10. Oversee and/or facilitate Kaizen team activities through training, planning, and coordination as required.
11. Oversee compiling and presentation of plant scorecards and plant Central Control Board information.
12. Oversee compliance to the policies for corrective actions on the plant scorecards.
13. Update data for departmental Lean Assessment scores, plan profiles, and SROS Assessment Checklists as required.
14. Oversee training record keeping for plant personnel for Lean training modules and the issuance of training certificates to attendees.
15. Interface with Corporate Lean Administration personnel and Lean Coordinators from other SRA facilities to provide information and input on Lean Best Practices for the division.
Qualification
1. Business Administration or Engineering degree preferred.
2. 5-7 years experience in lean manufacturing, automotive product experience preferred.
3. Manufacturing process knowledge, related tooling, and injection molded plastics industry preferred.
4. Good leadership skills and understanding.
5. Manufacturing experience that includes:
a. Lean manufacturing concepts
b. Continuous improvement efforts
c. Performance management
d. JIT concept
e. Problem solving techniques
f. Kaizen, Kan Ban and value stream mapping
g. Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements
h. Ability to grow and adapt to changing business environment.
