Resident Quality Engineer

1. Report to

This position will report to Product Manager， who most of the time is in France.

1. Job description

4.1 Quality Assurance for New Products
4.1.1 Responsible for Quality standard communication for Product Development from France and supplier, agreeing product specification and standards; make sure Wurth requirement is clearly understood and effectively and efficiently implemented;
4.1.2 Organize test for new products when needed, such as Type Test, Lifetime test, burn-in test...etc.
4.1.3 Convert product quality control specification from product development team, to work with supplier to finish Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis(PFMEA) and Control Plan(CP
4.1.4 Coach supplier to build Process Quality Check List(PQCL), and verify the effectiveness.
4.2 Quality Assurance for Mass Production Products
4.2.1 Monitor the implementation of CP&PQCL, make sure supplier operates accordingly.
4.2.2 Handle customer feedback/complaints from France, work with supplier to find the root cause; Check Corrective Action(CA) and Preventive Action(PA) to make sure no recurring issues take place.
4.2.3 Process audit. Perform process audit quarterly and annually to reduce the risk of systematic quality issues; Work with and coach supplier to cope with external audit(from third party or from customer
4.3 Others
4.3.1 Take the lead to standardize the quality control flowchart/procedure for Wurth France and supplier;
4.3.2 Smooth the information communication during Wurth and supplier.

1. Required Skills

5.0 Bacher Degree owner, major in Engineering or Science.
5.1 Minimum 3 years of solid experience in manufacturing quality assurance/control;
5.2 Highly developed analyzing skills (fault analysis, process analysis);
5.3 Good understanding and practice of quality management tools such as FMEA,Control Plans,Sample Inspection, SPC..etc.
5.4 Experience of connector industry will be a plus.
5.5 Knowledge of molding, stamping, plating will be an advantage.
5.6 Proactive and Able to work independently.
5.7 Good command of Speaking, Written, Listening English is a must.
