给大家看看SQE的钱途

哈哈，好久没登陆这个网站，看了一下市场行情，目前最顶级的SQE年薪为80万（应该是苹果），最低水准是15万

作为一个工作10年的SQE，看来我的工资水平还远未达到最低水准，也说明了自己离卓越还有很远很远，所以仍需刻苦努力，立志成为一个卓越的SQE，为中国品质之崛起而学习，在此立贴为证，希望大家监督，哈哈。

大学时English过了四级以后也没有再用功过，所以基础也不行。
多年以来一直为公司奋斗，白天晚上加班忙于工作或学习和工作有关的东西。一直忽略了外语的学习就是这样的下场。
直到有位同仁对我说“白天求生存，晚上求发展”，晚上不学习外语，这辈子也没有发展了。所以在此立贴为证，好好学习外语，当然以后也准备少来6sq来灌水了。。。{Y ，希望大家不要想我V:


另外看到不少人问APPLE的JD，我已经多年都一直拒绝猎头了，刚才到网上找了一个，大家可供研习参考。
APPLE好像叫SBE Supplier Base Expert，看样子是供应商驻厂专家？呵呵，经理级别的。

Job Description for Manager Level

Location: China ,

Key Responsibilities



Manage development, selection, implementation & optimization of secondary operations for mechanical enclosure subassemblies.

Work with Product Design, Industrial Design to assess product features for manufacturability and recommend capable processes, equipment

Conduct early DOE studies and present conclusions to support SBE positions.

Work with Global Supplier Managers to identify capable suppliers, assess their secondary processes for capacity, quality and cost

Work with suppliers to define and refine tooling, fixtures and establish capability

Audit supplier processes and assembly processes.

Support product phase builds from EVT, DVT PVT and ramp.

Responsible for secondary operation process yields and capacity to meet program requirements.

Responsible for root cause analysis studies and corrective action plan implementation.

Assist postproduction quality/ cost improvement activity related to fixtures and processes.

Periodic overseas travel required





Candidate Requirement

· BS/ MS with 8+ years high volume mechanical product manufacturing experience

· Training in mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering or related disciplines.

· Experience developing manufacturing processes with Far East suppliers

· Strong background developing tooling, fixtures, jigs for plastics and metal enclosure parts across a variety of fabrication and assembly processes.

· Additional experience with product design, managing quality, and product documentation is a plus.

· Must have excellent Excel skills, good understanding of GD&T & statistics application, strong failure analysis skills, and 3DCAD experience

Articulate: Verbal english should be acceptable to express the technical questions and answer your question clearly.
Expression: “maybe, I know, how to say, something like.....etc." is not acceptable.
Confident, executive communication skill

1. Manufacture process and equipment (4) 4 out of these

Stamping, extrusion, CNC machining, plastic molding, Anodizing, plating, polishing, lapping, laser welding, laser etching, laser cutting, gluing, automation and robot application.
Question: If he/she said he/she is familiar with those process, ask them some questions like " what are the key concerns from the process" “what is the machine vendor’s name” “what is the tolerance of that machine” "what is the normal yield of the process".

1. Fixture design (4)

Understanding and involve into fixture design, able to provide fixture design guide line to vendor and approve the design from Vendor
MSA/Gauge R&R
GD & T
Question: Just ask whether he/she is familiar with this or not. Is there any case/example from previous work can share with us. (what kind of process fixture, what kind of design guide lines, how to define fixture manufacturing specs, how to make the fixture, how to qualify.....etc.)

1. DOE, data analysis, Excel, quality management (4)

understand process key factors or parameters, run DOEs to solve process issues, use quality tools to collect and analysis data, optimize process, define process window, estimate process yield
Question: do you know DOE? do you know CP/CPK? How do you collect your data? XBar-R Chart (Stamping, CNC, Molding process), do you know? Share with me a case?

1. Project management (3)

Always ask questions to the candidates what the lead time for him/her to develop a new project, what is the most difficult issues/blockers, how he/she solve the issues. how did he/she manage the risk for the program. An actual case share with us is preferred.
