One question (capability analysis) come on,master
Wish this message can appear tomorrow(please ,dragon boss)
I would like to use capability analysis for the measurement of the throughput of a test loop. the criteria is as follows:
1) It is a closed loop transporting baggage (500 pieces);
2) There are hourly counters at strategic point within the system;
3) The baggage type will all of the same type;
4) The test period will be for 10 hours across 2 days and later for 24 hours for 4 days.
5) some of the counters could show different values depending on the routing strategies, but the load station and tilt units counters would give throughput in real terms. The other counter values would only show that re-routing strategies had worked.
Q1. Is it feasible to use capability analysis to prove the capability of the conveyor system using the throughput counters as my measured values.
Q2. How would I define the USL & LSL values? I know that the maximum throughput is 950 bags per hour and the uptime requirement is 99.7%
Q3. What would be the best approach to adopt (assuming that what I am proposing is feasible)?
Q4. What would be the drawbacks / limitations of such an analysis?
I look forward to master's good ideas , discussion .
