At A Moment Like This

买了个书柜,整理旧的日记本时,看到了大学时写的一首诗。

那是幻想中有所期待的岁月，它们从来就没有走远。

At A Moment Like this



I got up in the early morning

wandering around the schoolyard

The birds were busy singing in the trees

breaking the silence of the dawn.

The dews on the grass sparkled in the sunlight

resplendent like crystals & diamonds

At a moment like this

I wished there was someone to share this marvelous sight

When night came

the whole city was dressed up by the neon lights

I stood on the top of the building

watching the cars moving back and forth along the streets

At a moment like this

I craved someone to stand by my side

holding my hand, just to enjoy this splendor in silence
