I am so glad to see some friends start to give me some reply, but what makes me sad is most friends are still just looking. {Y

呼呼 is anxious to see more participation by our members. Following are my two cents why you should participate, if you are serious about improving your English.
Keeping quiet could be a virtue but not a good idea at this forum. Quality engineering in China is a very competitive profession. To get ahead of the competition we need to continually improve ourselves by learning from our domestic peers as well as, more importantly, our international counterparts and/or world renowned authorities in various related fields of this profession. Since English is now the dominating language for us to communicate worldwide, in order to keep in contact with the international community, having a decent command of English is a necessity. I have noticed that many of you who are sharing your knowledge and experience at this website are highly talented. It would be a shame if your talents and professional careers are hindered by sub-leveled English skills.
Grammar is an importance part of English, and it plays a vital part in transforming our Chinglish into English. The purpose of this forum is to follow a popular training process now being used in the U.S. for non English speaking natives to learn English as a second foreign language. Time is precious, and we only have twenty weeks to work on this vital part of English. So, please participate to share your work with us and/or make comments or give critiques to others’ work. If you are serious about improving your English, that is.
