OMG (Oh, my God)! "They speak English better than I do," I said to myself when I was listening to their speeches. In fact, they were able to clearly and accurately pronounce every syllable of every word they were saying, and in my opinion, even better than some of the judges! Many thanks are due to 乐呵木棉 who sent me this 21世纪杯英语演讲比赛纲站. At this website you will find and enjoy outstanding speeches delivered by some of our fellow Chinese college students recorded during national speech contests. Practice makes perfect, no doubt!

You're more than welcome to join us, Rachel. Glad to see that you are aware of the importance of English in your daily life.
Since you're a friend of 乐呵木棉, it could be a good idea if you and she could collaborate when working on homework assignments and post your joint effort for discussion. In the meantime, please feel free to write and post to this forum as much as you could using those verbs (regular and irregular) on Pages 19 through 23 in Azar's text.
