English Resumes

In the West, the sole purpose of preparing a resume is nothing but to win an interview. Since there could be many applicants for the same opening and so many resumes for the employer to evaluate, employers hate to read long resumes. Often, they simply ignore them. Thus, make your resume as short as possible, no more than two pages at the most. If you can, you want to impress your employer in one page.

For help, there are templates and samples of resumes available on Internet. And, I think members of this forum are willing to help as well.
