The way we would judge Accept or Reject is this. Your inspector will be inspecting a number of "top of lid" and "main body of case" and will determine the quantity of inspected parts that fail. Then multiply the number of inspected parts by 0.025 to calculate the maximum number of Major Fail allowed, based on the sample inspected. Also multiply the number of inspected parts by 0.04 to calculate the maximum number of Minor Fail allowed. If the actual number of Major Fail parts is higher than the calculated maximum number Major Fail allowed, then the work is Reject. If the actual number of Minor Fail parts is higher than the calculated maximum number Minor Fail allowed, then the work is Reject. If both actual numbers are under the maximum allowed, the work is Accept.
