Theme: Managing Emotion and Pressure

Today, I attended the training course on Emotion and Pressure Management. Our trainer is a psychotherapist in her mid-50s. Her teaching style is very calm, professional and relaxed, and I enjoyed the lectures very much, have learned a lot and would like to share some of it with you.

Throughout our lives stress is always present at any time and it is important to understand stress and how to manage it. Certain amount of pressure can motivate us to do better, but too much stress can physically damage your immune system , make you ill and unhappy, which in turn may cause negative impact to our interrelationship with our friends and colleagues. Therefore, our stress must be effectively managed.

Talking about managing stress, as trainer taught, effective stress management starts with identifying your sources of stress and developing strategies to manage them. According to your specific requirements, everyone should have a stress-management strategy. For example, on the physical side, eating a healthy diet, being physically active and getting enough sleep, which help boost your healthy lifestyle. In addition, social support is one of the best buffers for stress. Whenever you encounter a difficult situation, social support may boost your capability to deal with it effectively, such as 6SQ internet etc. And on a psychological level, managing your emotion is also very vital. Meditation is one of the most effective ways to relieve stress, relax your bodies and quiet your busy minds.
