Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager
Report to: Operations Manager
Supervise to: QA Supervisor, Engineer/technician, and inspectors

Responsibilities: Manage Quality Assurance in a manner that reflects Calmar’s commitment to continuous improvement of quality and production systems. This is accomplished through cooperation and coordination of all departments. This position requires direct contact with all phases of the organization from Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Customer Services/Sales, and Management and also with Customers.

Duties:

ü Manage a team of 8-10employees in the Quality Assurance Department. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.

ü Working with Corporate (USA) Quality Management, oversee and coordinate with all internal departments the implementation, execution, and auditing of the Quality System as established in company policies and procedures.

ü Review Molding and Assembly finished item specifications. Involved in supplier audits and oversee Incoming Inspection.

ü Supervise the collection and organization of quality data and issuance of reports as required.

ü Be involved in qualifications of localization and other various project teams.

ü Coordinate ISO registration activities and act as ISO representative. Oversee the review and generation of documentation as required in the areas of inspection, calibrations, test methods, and product specification.

ü Involved in customer audits of the facilities. Review customer specifications. Coordinate with customer on quality issues. Route and coordinate customer complaints. Issue customer complaint report, quarterly and annually. Give presentations of Quality Systems to customers. Interact with Sales and keep informed of customer requirements.



The Person

ü Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university;
ü At least 5 years working experience on the similar post in a manufacturing enterprise with foreign investment
ü Highly responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented, good team player
ü Good English proficiency both written and spoken
ü Computer skills with Excel, Microsoft Word,
ü Good statistical background, organizational skills, and communications skills.
ü Certified Quality Engineer Certification is a plus
